History
Forster Tuncurry Transmissions was founded in 1972 at its current site in a two-bay shed. It has only had four owners in that time. It originally serviced marine and light engineering needs as well as motor vehicles. Under the current owners supervision in the past eight years the business has grown to cater for the full range of mechanical services from general servicing to RTA inspections.
The core business is driveline work: transmissions, manual and automatic, differentials, clutches, brakes, power steering and 4WD transfer cases.

Philosophy
Our business philosophy is simply to do a good job at a competitive price, treat customers as we would like to be treated, place ourselves on the other side of the counter! Always make people know that they control the repair process of their vehicle.
